JOB DESCRIPTIONS

Office directors manage a local face-to-face fundraising project. Directors work to meet annual donor acquisition and retention goals on behalf of one or more clients, which they accomplish by recruiting, training and managing a team of paid fundraisers. To excel in the role, an office director must be driven and goal-oriented, a good listener, an effective communicator, open to feedback, and able to persevere through the inevitable challenges that come with managing a campaign.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Train and manage a team of fundraisers
Run regular training sessions for fundraisers and team leaders
Conduct 2-week evaluations for new fundraisers and periodic evaluations for all staff
Meet with staff individually to set goals as well as share and receive feedback
Identify, train, and promote leaders
Communicate policies, decisions, expectations, and standards to staff
Maintain a positive, professional, inclusive working environment for all staff
Motivate fundraisers via client/campaign updates as well as project updates
Recruit a team of fundraisersGenerate interest in the fundraising job through a combination of paid ads, free job boards, posters/flyers, social media, staff referrals, and word of mouth
Schedule and conduct fundraiser interviews, make hiring decisions and job offers
Court new hires and assist them through the onboarding process
Maintain a clean, professional office that is welcoming for all
Oversee the operationDevelop daily and weekly plans to meet office performance goals
Create and communicate schedules for team leaders and fundraisers
Track and report office performance metrics
Prepare, review and approve bi-weekly payroll
Track and monitor project expenses
Administer staff benefits
Maintain accurate inventory of materials and equipment

Prior sales/fundraising/management experience is a plus but not required.
